A key value proposition of our job is a quality workflow involving sound and video. The workflow is always adjusted to your needs. Look below what can be in.
Sound and music postproduction workflow
Sound is captured using a multitrack recording device such as a locally available mixing console, our own digital console Allen&Heath SQ5 (music and complex projects), combination of in-camera sound, Hollyland Lark (wireless mics for live interview settings), local and our own microphones and other sources. We have a lot of equipment in house, do not be afraid to ask!
We use ProTools equipped with powerful plugins such FabFilter to create a music mix from the multitrack recording. The sound mix is extensively consulted with you. When appropriate, the mix can be done by a professional of your choice.
The sound is mastered using a top-notch hybrid workflow including Universal Audio Apollo Heritage, Solid State Logic outboard gear (Fusion, Bus+), Elysia gear and more. When appropriate, the mastering can be done by a professional of your choice.
A master track is created that is compatible with social media and other mainstream outlets respecting the right levels of loudness.
Video postprocessing workflow
The video is recorded to multiple cameras, typically at least five 4k cameras with 25fps or high frame rates as needed.
We record using Atomos Ninja recording monitors with remote timecode synchronization (AirGlu) down to a single frame
All camera footage is synchronized to the underlying music track
The video is cut based on the desired artistic direction and genre of the resulting video.
Color grading is an important step in which we tune the visuals of the video, taking into account the color science of the cameras we use and the art dimensions,
The final video is encoded using H.264, H.265 or other format as needed and tailored for publication on YouTube and other platforms
